Jason grew up in the small town of Bethal Acres. But as small as towns come Jason's dreams have been as big as dreams come. Jason has been a fanatical KISS fan as long as he can remember. Was it the lights, the music, the stage presence of the band, the costumes, or all of it put together? We don't know, but what ever it is, we are glad!

As a child, Jason danced around the house wearing headphones bigger than he was, listening to KISS. As he got older, he picked up the guitar and knew that it was meant to be, it was meant to happen,and it was meant to go far.
Jason has a very dry sense of humor, with a background in psychology which makes him a charismatic and witty front man. Whether it is a small club or a packed house, Jason plays every show as if he waited his whole life to be at that exact place at that precise moment in time. Jason puts his all into every show.
He also attended college majoring in psychology. He's considered the band shrink, because everyone seems to unload on him. This can also make life hell for the rest of the band; especially when he uses his reverse psychology and subliminal messages to get them motivated.
Jason's musical interests are "KISS, KISS,and KISS, Bon Jovi, Creed , Queen and Classical Music.
Jason's psychology influence gives him a unique writing style. Writing from many angles and takes, rather than the " MY POINT OF VIEW" writing style, he can also put a different and unique spin on any covers that the band does. Jason and Edd are the main contributors to the music and lyrics, with Scott writing some of his own from personal experiences and Zakk throwing in his two cents as well.

EDDY CRISTIAN- LEAD GUITAR / BACKING VOCALS

Edd the youngest member of the band grew up in the small town of Bethel Acres, Ok. He was heavy into baseball. Soon he discovered music and baseball quickly fell to the way side.
Edd got started a little later than the rest of the band, but you would never know it when you hear him play. Music is definitely in his blood, and has become such a part of his life that he really can't remember life before guitar.
In his teen's, he aspired to be a State Trooper, attending the Law Man Academy and then on to college to study criminal justice. Needless to say he has seen Police Academy more times than we can count!
A guitar has been Edd's constant companion. Edd has a natural ability to listen to something once or twice and then play it back to you. He never ceases to amaze us with his playing abilities.
Edd is an integral part of the band, not only because of his lead guitar playing, but because of his writing abilities; contributing to original music and lyrics.
Edd feels he is still learning, and he will never be done learning, because
" You never know everything there is to know about music".
Most recently he has been studying guitar theory.
Ed's main influence has been "KISS", but his taste in music varies from Rock, Metal, Pop, and Country.
Edd is also the smart ass of the band. No matter how serious or urgent the situation can be, Edd always has a cocky remark that will make everyone within ear shot laugh. This can be very good when tensions are running high during practice, gigs, or when the rest of the guys need a comic relief.
Edd's personal interest include " Guitar, Guitar, Guitar", hunting, Captain Morgan, fishing, pepsi, archery, pizza and snooooozing.
He recently discovered an interest in horseback riding.

Zakk Hawn / Bass Guitar - Backing Vocals

Zakk the newest member of Eighth Day, has been playing about 7 years (at first he wanted to sing) . Zakk has the natural ability to incorporate many different styles of playing. As a matter of fact we think he is a drummer that hasn't come out of the closet yet, by the way he beats, slaps and pops the hell out of his bass. He also feels that each instrument is an individual and integral part of the band. Each has its own personality and there are many techniques to playing any and all instrument's. He appreciates all forms of music , Country, Pop and Metal. Zakk has played in several other bands before joining Eighth Day.

Zakk has alot of great things he puts in the band. Being the newest, the rest of the guys find out when everyone else does, from opening a beer, lighting a cig, without missing a note... scary huh?

Scott Allen / Drummer - Backing Vocals

Scott was born in Emporia Kansas, and was adopted at the age of 3 months. His adopted father played guitar, fiddle and sang, this was his first taste of music. At the age of 8, his parents wanted him to purse playing the piano, but in 7th grade scott took up the trumpet in the school band, this is when he discovered the love of an audience.
At the age of 14 Scott snuck out of his house with a friend, who wanted to introduce him to the love of Rock and Roll, being brought up in a very religious family Rock and Roll was out of the question. That night was the turn around for scott in what music he wanted to play. Watching Tommy Lee from Motley Crue open for Ozzy Ozbourn, he then knew he was determined to be a drummer. With his family really not to supportive of the drums, he pursued them on his own.
He has played in different styles of bands, from Country to jazz, his love is Rock and Roll.
A chance meeting between Edd, lead him to listen to the band, he like what he saw and heard, soon he auditioned and became a permanent member.
Scott is the temperamental one of the four, because of his drive to go places and be the best he can be. Scott has been the business end of the band and is very satisfied to hand it over......
